- Be aware of Keywords: Keywords are the main fact which keeps a Blog alive. It means you have to include more keywords in the content or the title. (Don't add too much of keywords in the title). Check out Google Adword Keyword tool and find out the keywords based on the topic of the post
- The title should not be too much longer.
- Keep a simple theme on your Blog, Now this is very essential. I've seen many bloggers designing their Blog to make it look like a website. Remember one thing, you are the owner of a blog not a website. I recommend to use Themes provided by Blogger, as you can see the theme used in here is the 'Simple' theme from Blogger.
- Keep your Content unique: Do not try to copy posts/articles from other Websites/blogs, this will end you up in trouble.
- Follow the frequently updated blog and try including hot articles (articles which might be searched by the web always)
- Take care of the Title tag: On Blogger theme by default, the title tag will show like this "Blog Name":"Post Title". Now you have to make it show like this "Post Name" | "Blog Name" or "Post Name". The second one will be more SEO friendly.
- Keep a Jump Break (the Read more thing), don't view the whole content on your homepage, cause it will take more time to load your Blog.
- Know whether all your posts are indexed or not: Try Googling "site://<your blog address>" on Google and keep a track of your indexed pages/posts
