Indian Manufacturer Micromax has revealed that the company will be looking to release a Windows Phone next year. The co-founder of Micromax, Rahul Sharma said about it. India is a country growing quickly with low end, affordable Smartphones. Micromax even provides high end quad core devices with an HD display for just 15K. Global market Intelligence, IDC noted that the Smartphone market in India tripled it's shipments year over year.
Micromax wants to expand its sales to Europe and the launching of a Windows Phone will be a beginning. Micromax grew in the minds of the youngster after the release of it's Canvas series. Smartphones in the Micromax Canvas series are powered by Jelly Bean and provides a wide range of features to us. Micromax also said that, if Nokia chose Android phones, it would have been a threat for them.
This means that Micromax have planned something big. It looks like finally an Indian manufacturer is getting trust in the minds of the people. Even though their phones are good quality, Micromax should develop their brand value, because most of the people consider brand value while choosing a phone. I am one of them too.
