A few days back, we got an update of the YouTube app from Google. After the update we were able to actually change the video quality of the streaming videos. On first look we could not notice any changes, actually there are no much changes in the U.I, but includes an important new feature.
- After the update you might have noticed a new button with three vertical dots on the upper right corner of the video playback control.
- Tap on this small button
- Now this will bring three new options, "Video Calling", "Closed Captioning" and "Flag as inappropriate"
- Tap on the first options to display various video quality settings like "360p", "720p"
- Click on the video quality you like
NOTE: These changes are only made for the currently playing video, when you open another video the video quality settings will be restored to "Auto"
Most of the iPhone users faced a problem which solved now.
